Lindsey (Flietstra) VanderLaan
Lindsey has been riding horses for nine years and boarding for eight, deciding to form High Point Stables, LLC in August, 2006. She remains active showing in both English and Western classes. Lindsey especially enjoys giving lessons to young enthusiasts teaching them everything from the basics of horse care to the fundamentals of Western riding. As her riders progress and are confident and ready to compete, Lindsey takes great pride in giving her students the opportunity to compete in various horse shows throughout mid-Michigan. Not all horse lovers have the opportunity to get connected and Lindsey truly enjoys introducing the wonderful world of horses to children and adults alike. After a brief layoff from schooling while getting married, Lindsey returned to graduate in Spring of 2008, completing her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration to go along with her prior studies in Animal Science.
